The "Raw" surface consists of pieces where the color of the piece is the actual color of the clay used - that means that the color is natural and what you see is the "raw" clay. A Diamond glaze (glaze with bobles) might have been used in selected places as well as oxides, but the piece itself is otherweise unglazed.
